Flapjackery

Wheat-free, uses oats

Flapjackery's Lyme Regis branch, on Broad Street: a bakery free from wheat, rye and barley, specialising in handmade flapjacks (South West butter, fair-trade syrup) and a Gold winner at the Taste of the West Awards. The flapjacks are based on gluten-free oats — not one for you if oats don't agree with you.

No wheat, rye or barley, but oats are used on site: a risk for many people with coeliac disease.

Good to know if you have celiac disease

Contains oats. Oats not certified gluten-free are almost always contaminated with wheat during growing and milling. Even certified, their avenin protein is poorly tolerated by some people with celiac disease.

Hidden in strict celiac mode.
