Copines Paris, twice over

Copines Paris is the Belgian version of Copains, the 100% gluten-free Parisian bakery-pastry shop, renamed in Belgium over an already-registered trademark. After its first shop near the Grand-Place, the chain opened two more in Saint-Gilles:

  • Copines Paris, 3 rue Jean Stas, a stone’s throw from avenue Louise: bread, viennoiseries and pastries made with buckwheat, quinoa and wholegrain rice flours (4.3★ on Google). Its presence is documented by the chain’s official page, HappyCow and Uber Eats.
  • Copines Paris Charleroi, 27 chaussée de Charleroi, opened in 2026, listed on the chain’s official shop map.

No gluten product enters these shops. One nuance: in France, the chain uses certified gluten-free oat flour in several recipes, and we don’t know whether the Belgian range contains it. If you avoid oats, ask — here’s why the question matters.

Terter: vegan, with a gluten-free menu

Terter, 264 chaussée de Waterloo, is a vegan bistro known for its house-made tofu and desserts. The menu identifies gluten-free dishes, alongside dairy-free and vegetarian options, but the kitchen is not fully dedicated: gluten-free is one option among others, and we found no described protocol against cross-contamination. Announce your celiac disease and have the day’s preparation confirmed. The address recently moved from rue Antoine Bréart: it is now on chaussée de Waterloo.
