MJ’s Feast, 2011 Corona Road, is a market-café whose menu is entirely gluten-free, devised by chef MJ (Mindy Jahn), herself a celiac. Locavore, plant-based, house-made cooking, eat in, takeaway or by prepared-meal subscription, with a private chef and catering service. Nourish Café & Market, 1201 East Broadway downtown, serves a menu that is entirely gluten-free, soy-free and free of refined sugar, with organic and local ingredients: all-day breakfast, cold-pressed juices, smoothies, raw vegan desserts. Worth noting: the establishment has changed hands — it has been taken over by Stephens College, with a transition between late 2025 and early 2026 — while staying open at the same address, according to the Columbia Missourian. Confirm the hours before making the trip.

The bakery

Range Free, 110 Orr Street, in the North Village arts district, is presented by its sources as the only fully dedicated gluten-free bakery in Missouri. It is also free of wheat, peanuts, fish, shellfish and tree nuts, with paleo and vegan cooking. The official site, the Find Me Gluten Free listing, Yelp and Savor Columbia agree. It is the address for bread and pastry, the one that does not exist in a mixed kitchen.
