Continental Treat Fine Bistro

100% gluten-free

European bistro in Edmonton (German, Polish, Hungarian and Austrian influences), run by the same family since 1982, with a fully gluten-free kitchen: house-made breads, soups, sauces, pierogies, pretzels and pastries, plus schnitzels. The beer list has one gluten-free beer but mostly Belgian and European beers containing gluten.

No wheat, rye or barley flour ever enters the establishment.

Good to know if you have celiac disease

Gluten-removed barley beer. Some beers sold as "gluten-free" are barley beers treated enzymatically. Tests cannot reliably measure their residual gluten: they are not recommended for people with celiac disease.

Hidden in strict celiac mode.
