Szczecin is a pleasant surprise: of the 4 verified addresses, 4 are fully dedicated kitchens. No mixed kitchen, no “adapted” menu. A bistro where no wheat, barley or rye ever enters, two bakery-pastry shops, and a café-pastry shop certified by the “Menu Bez Glutenu” program run by the Polish association for people with celiac disease.

The sit-down meal: a bistro where wheat never enters

Bistro Jaglana, aleja Piastów 75, is the only true sit-down meal on our list. Its rule is as clear as it gets: no wheat, no barley, no rye crosses the establishment’s door, which removes the cross-contamination question across the entire international menu. Menu Bez Glutenu, Tripadvisor and HappyCow confirm it.

The bakeries and the café

LADY BAKER bezglutenowa piekarnia, ulica Śląska 40, is a 100% gluten-free bakery-pastry shop designed for people with celiac disease: breads, baguettes, pastries, croissants, donuts and desserts, plus a pizza offering on weekends. Atly.com, the official Facebook page and the house website confirm the address and its status.

Ciacho bez Cukru, plac Lotników 3B, is the sweets workshop of the brand of the same name: everything is gluten-free and free of added sugar, with keto, vegan or protein-based options, eat-in or takeaway. An article from local press (gs24.pl) confirms the absence of gluten across the entire menu.

Fit Cake, aleja Piastów 5, is the city’s café-pastry shop: waffles, pancakes, porridges, specialty coffee, ice cream, and gluten-free wafers in summer — all gluten-free and free of added sugar. It’s the best-documented Szczecin address on our list: Celiakia.pl and menubezglutenu.pl attest to the “Menu Bez Glutenu” certification, backed by the official website, the Facebook page and three local press articles. One useful detail: this brand has other, uncertified branches elsewhere, so always double-check the exact address.

Our tips on site

  • Say “Mam celiakię.” It’s the phrase that triggers precautions; “bez glutenu” alone is often taken as a dietary preference.
  • Look for the “Menu Bez Glutenu” mention. It’s the certification program of the Polskie Stowarzyszenie Osób z Celiakią i na Diecie Bezglutenowej, the Polish association for people with celiac disease and people on a gluten-free diet.
  • Aleja Piastów accounts for two of the four addresses — Bistro Jaglana at 75, Fit Cake at 5: the meal and the coffee sit on the same avenue. The other two, plac Lotników and ulica Śląska, each require a separate trip.
