Lublin is easy to sum up: of the 4 verified addresses, 4 are fully dedicated — not a grain of wheat flour on the premises. But all four are bread-and-sweets addresses: two bakeries, a patisserie and a café-patisserie. No restaurant in our database for now. Three of them fall under the “Menu Bez Glutenu” program run by the Polish celiac association.

The two dedicated bakeries

Tasty&Free Gluten Free Bakery, ulica Weteranów 30, is the city’s most interesting address for anyone wanting a taste of the local specialty: it hand-makes the traditional cebularze of Lublin, those onion-and-poppy-seed flatbreads, in a gluten-free version — along with croissants, blueberry viennoiseries, mini pizzas, cinnamon rolls and bread, made from natural flours in a dedicated production environment. Menu Bez Glutenu and Celiakia.pl list it at this address; the official Facebook page also mentions a second location on ulica Marii Curie-Skłodowskiej 52, which explains a slight discrepancy between sources.

Bezglutenowe domowe z Lublina, ulica Feliksa Nowowiejskiego 5B, is an artisan bakery born out of a passion for healthy baking: rice-and-millet breads, buckwheat breads, rolls and homemade cakes, all gluten-free and made from certified natural ingredients. The official website and local press (Kurier Lubelski) confirm the fully gluten-free status.

The sweets: patisserie and café

Ciacho bez cukru, ulica Tadeusza Kościuszki 3, is the Lublin branch of the chain of the same name, specializing in sugar-free, gluten-free and dairy-free pastries: cakes, tartlets, éclairs and ice cream, in vegan and keto versions. Its entry into the “Menu Bez Glutenu” program was covered in an article on celiakia.pl, and the official website confirms the fully gluten-free status.

Fit Cake, ulica Fryderyka Chopina 8, right in the center, offers a 100% gluten-free selection with dairy-free, keto and vegan options. The certification is confirmed on menubezglutenu.pl and Celiakia.pl, and the certified address (Chopina 8/VII) matches the listing — a point worth checking with this brand, which has other, non-certified locations elsewhere.

Our tips on site

  • Say “Mam celiakię.” It is the phrase that triggers real precautions; “bez glutenu” alone is often taken as a dietary preference.
  • Look for the “Menu Bez Glutenu” label. It is the certification program of the Polskie Stowarzyszenie Osób z Celiakią i na Diecie Bezglutenowej, the Polish association of celiac patients and people on a gluten-free diet; three of our four addresses carry it.
  • Plan your savory meal elsewhere. Our four verified addresses are two bakeries, a patisserie and a café: put together dinner from bread and mini pizzas bought to go, or announce your celiac disease at an unverified restaurant, knowing nothing there is guaranteed.

Explore the 4 addresses

Every address cited has been verified at the source: existence, actual gluten-free level, risks. All 4 are on the Nutrixe map — and if your Lublin address is missing, suggest it. The full list is on our page gluten-free restaurants in Lublin, and dedicated kitchen or gluten-free menu, the difference explains why this distinction changes everything.
